Taking on Marine Sciences.

I am very interested in Marine Sciences. I grew up near the ocean, and grew curious of the water. Having Marine Sciences for  my topic will help me grow fonder of this field and I will have a better understanding of the whole picture. Some of my short term goals would be to put myself out there, talk to marine scientist, and learn about this field of science. Studying this would put me out into the science world as a high school student and researching this would also make me learn. I would also like to go to some type of camp, or even job shadow someone in this field. To see how the job effects their  life, and what impact it makes on them. Also hearing their opinion would be very helpful, because I can think to myself is that something that could happen to me or do we think alike.
  
My long-term goals are  to eventually get into a 4 year college for marine sciences, somewhere out of New England. I think it would be a great experience to get out of New England and know what else is out there.  To explore what we don’t see walking the beaches here, or swimming in the water. What we’ve never even heard of, but is out there and ready to be explored.

This is a great topic for me to study, because of my interest and how I grew up always being near the ocean. There is such a broad study of Marine Sciences and only so many people to take on those challenges. For I am one of those people.
